'The goal wasn't offside, so f*** off everybody.'

On Saturday, Stoke City beats Arsenal by 1-0 at Britannia Stadium. Stoke City forward Jese Rodriguez started his debut match with a goal.

But Arsenal legend Ian Wright expressed his disappointment at referee's decison vs Stoke City on social media.

The Gunners Boss was adamant the goal should have stood, telling reporters: "I think we scored a goal that is not offside. It's a very easy decision. When the ball is kicked he is not offside, Lacazette."

"What happens to the advantage being given to the centre-forward? That goal from Lacazette was a great finish, and that goal should have counted for me today."

Steven Gerrard The Liverpool legend was also in full agreement, saying: "It's onside because if there is no advantage to the front man then what is this rule that is out there?

"The advantage should go to the front man here because for me there is only really his foot that's offside."

On Sunday Wright took to Instagram to upload a short video of himself discussing Arsenal's second Premier League fixture of the new season.

In the clip, which is viewable above, the former striker says: "They were very unlucky with the referee and the goal wasn't offside, so f*** off everybody."
