Arsenal vs Leicester City : Preview




The theme is all set, as Premier League comes back into action this weekend when Emirates Stadium hosts Leicester City in late Friday night opener. Both the clubs will be looking to get underway with a win – Arsenal have never lost Leicester in the league since 1994 where as both the clubs lost  their opening fixture last season.

Team News?


Arsenal : Superstars Mesut Ozil as well as Alexis Sanchez will miss out in League’s opener. Mesut has suffered ankle injury which will rule him out of the fixture whereas Sanchez is struggling with some strains he caught up in training. Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker will be available despite Clash with Cahill past Sunday, but Ramsey is side-lined due to calf poblems.Coquelin is doubtful for Friday as Santi Cazorla, Gabriel Paulista and Jack Wilshere remain side-lined.


Leicester: Slimani will be ruled out from the fixture due to injury suffered last month with both Danny Drinkwater and Robert Huth ruled out.Kelechi Iheanacho remains doubtful as new faces Harry Maguire and Vicente Iborra could line-up for the foxes.Matty James could return back into side after impressive Pre-Season.
