As the news evolve Arsenal and Chelsea
have come to an agreement of fee for transfer of Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain.'The
Chambo Transfer Saga' evolved for a long time with Premier League rivals
Chelsea and Liverpool going head-to-head for signature of Chamberlain,as only
12 months remain before he is out of the contract at Arsenal. But The English
international rejected £1,80,000/week offer from gunners last thursday and
is certainly on his way out of Emirates.
With news earlier emerging Liverpool
agreement to sign Naby Keita next summer window,Chelsea were the only potential
destination for England International.
But the real question is : What's
Next for Arsenal ?
The defeat at Anfield on Sunday has
left Gunners fuming over the future, and certainly when Chamberlain departs to
Stamford Bridge they really need to consider their squad and get some potential
player's before the summer window closes at the end of this month. And it even
indicates promotion to some players in the squad Who can fill the void left by
Chambo.
- Arsenal will be looking to get in a winger finally
Arsenal have been linked to top rated
wingers throughout the summer but they have failed to get any player who can
play on the wings on primary basis.Starting from Thomas Lemar to Riyad Mahrez,I
don't know who is Arsene Wenger looking to get but I am sure that they will
certainly bring in one top class winger. And if you ask me - Arsenal should buyMahrez and ignore Lemar or other players because Riyad Mahrez has proven
himself in last couple of years, not only in the Premier LEague but also in
Champions League and certainly is one of the best winger in English top
division right now, where as Lemar has only shone for a season and will be
a bigger gamble as he has not yet had the taste of Premier League.
2. Hector Bellerin will
get another opportunity to shine
We have seen that Bellerin is a top defender when he is at his best and
is even a beast going forward, but since Arsenal have adapted new formation the
Spanish Youngster has failed to adapt and has been giving awful performances
from time to time. But if Chamberlain leaves Bellerin will get another
opportunity to prove himself to the fans as well as Wenger when he can get to
play on the Wing-Back position regularly.
3. Is Reiss Nelson the solution?
Nelson have shown us all what he can do,and has certainly became one of
the fan favourite at Arsenal with many people demanding the English youngster
to feature in Arsenal first team, but to be honest there ain’t any place in the
eleven mate..but that can change soon.Wenger might consider giving Reiss Nelson
the go in the starting eleven and you know what ; This kid certainly has got
talent to fill big shoes and might be one of the future of Arsenal as well as
football.
4. Theo Walcott got a
chance to glory
There was a time where Walcott dribbled as smooth as dolphins swim but
with repeated injury set back this guy has gone from hero to zero, and even got very
less opportunities knocking at the door but mind me this can be his moment to
fly as high as an Eagle and give everyone the show which they were expecting
since couple of years back.
5. Change In Formation, AGAIN!
Arsenal were on a low last season when Arsene Wenger decided to go with
three at the back and at that time it raised high dividends. This season it has
been an ‘awful sh*t’ to watch. Conceding eight goals in opening three matches
this is not where Arsenal belongs, they belong at netting those goals instead. And
Chambo’s departure is certainly cherry on the cake to get back to four at the
back, the Traditional Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. Look,Wenger knows what he will do
but we can expect change in formation again after disturbing start to the
campaign and losing one of the key players soo near to the shut of window.
I know it has been awful couple of weeks for Arsenal fans, just not
knowing how to react with the results they got and losing Chamberlain will be
another setback but Gooners I will only tell you one thing – Whatever we may go
through I know We got each other back and everyone know We can defy the odds
and spit on the mouth of others, I hope we sign some quality players and get back
to winning ways after the International break. #COYG
